Are you part of a group who would like to volunteer? If so, let Greater Philadelphia Cares get you on the road to community service. We will set up customized service projects for your group - all your group needs to do is show up!

Groups can be of any size, and any type. There is no age requirement for groups-you can be children, adults, seniors, or a mix! Just let us know who you are, the age range of the group, what you're interested in doing and when you're interested in doing it. We will create the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. You can help prepare food for homebound AIDS patients, revitalize a park, teach school children how to read, sort donated items at local thrift shops. The list goes on and on!

To get started, your group should decide:

1. Who is going to be your group leader

2. The size of your group and the ages of any children involved. Please be realistic about your group size!

3. The exact date and duration (start and end times) for your project.

4. Transportation: carpool or SEPTA

5. The types of projects you are interested in (please rank several!):

Community Revitalization	Seniors	Education
Environment	Digital Inclusion
People Living with Disabilities	Reading STARS	No preference - will help with anything!

After you've answered these questions, call 215-564-4544 to plan a group volunteer project!

Project managers will do their best to fill a group project request within 2 weeks. It is much easier to plan projects over the phone rather than via email - so please call us so we can begin to create your project!

** Please note: We ask that you submit your request at least 3-4 weeks prior to the desired project date. We ask that you abide by Greater Philadelphia Cares' no-cancellation policy for all of our projects. All of our projects are RAIN or SHINE! **

Your group may also want to participate in an annual event or one of our pre-set monthly volunteer opportunities (depending on group size).
