Continuing to Make a Difference… Maintaining
the Relationship After Philadelphia Cares Day
Principal Partnerships is a unique Greater Philadelphia
Cares program which partners corporations, universities, civic groups
and individuals with Philadelphia public schools. Partnerships take
on many forms and are initiated by schools, individuals, and community
and corporate groups. Greater Philadelphia Cares manages all logistics
of each partnership to help ensure and maintain an ongoing, positive
and beneficial relationship for both partners.
The greatest assets that you bring to our schools
are your unique background, relationships, and enthusiasm. Through
Greater Philadelphia Cares’ Principal Partnerships program,
there are a number of ways to continue (or start!) your relationship
and make a difference at a Philadelphia public school. The following
examples are but a few of the many ways Greater Philadelphia Cares
can help you remain connected (or become connected!) with a school.
Consider
the Following:
• Set up internships at your workplace for students.
• Help set up, stock, or upgrade the school library.
• Tutor or mentor students.
• Donate computer hardware or software, and offer technical
support to assist school efforts to integrate technology into the
classroom and the curriculum.
• Contact Renee at Greater Philadelphia Cares at 215-564-4544, or renee@gpcares.com and learn
which schools need a partner!
