Greater Philadelphia Cares Winter Coat Drive: November 1, 2008 - Martin Luther King Day 2009

SOME EXPECT THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK...
WE JUST WANT THE COAT!

Every year, thousands of men, women, and children in the Greater Philadelphia region live through the cold winter season without a coat to keep warm. You may help provide them with this basic necessity through the Philadelphia Cares’ Thirteenth Annual Winter Coat Drive. This event is a reminder that there are thousands of people whose only holiday wish is a warm coat for their children, parents, or themselves.

There are two ways area residents may help:

* Set up a collection campaign at your office, school, church, or community organization. Simply complete the Count Us In form and fax it to us at 215-564-4543 or email to Danielle at danielle@gpcares.com.

* Drop off your new or “gently used” winter coat at any of our public collection sites from November 1, 2008 through January 19, 2009.

  All collected coats may be delivered to our generous project partner, St. Vincent DePaul.
  All donations of 10 coats or more must be delivered to the central St. Vincent DePaul warehouse at 901 East Luzerne Street, Philadelphia, 19124 .
